What is CLP?
CLP stands for Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures.
CLP legislation applies to certain non-cosmetic products containing hazardous substances, including products that contain fragrance oils or essential oils. This can include candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room sprays and other home fragrance products.
CLP labels provide important safety information about a product. Depending on the individual formulation, they may include relevant hazard pictograms, warning information, precautionary statements and information relating to potentially allergenic or hazardous ingredients.
